2021 December Town Hall Dinner & Happy Hour

A panel of distinguished alumni facilitated the year-end Town Hall designed to open our new career development and "Value Proposition". AZ Alpha brother Tom Lamantia, and Ohio Gamma alum, Tom Healy, focused discussion to a group of 25 brothers with both new grads and alumni to age 82. The purpose was to get ideas on how to build a "private SAE" online app and database of alumni that would volunteer to be mentors or provide internships & jobs to SAE members. We are targeting juniors and seniors who are serious about making a difference in this world and who would appreciate alumni contacts within SAE.

Currently, 94% of the 330,000 SAE initiates are alumni and many would be willing to provide their professional services or time instead of being asked to give money. When asked about the cost, Lamantia said, "Don't worry about the cost, we will make it happen with existing platforms and commitments from alumni who want to be involved.

Past President, Bo Sederstrom, AZ Gamma '83 organized this town hall format instead of the traditional December luncheon.

Stay tuned as we announce updates on our website and in future newsletters.
