SAE HUNTERS & ANGLERS CAMPING ON THE RIM

SAE Phoenix Alumni gathered at the RIM Campground, space 5, to enjoy the 80 degree weather and 60s at night and two days of trout fishing.

First annual camping trip was organized on the Mogollon Rim from July 21-23, 2023 at Woods Canyon Lake. We enjoyed beautiful weather when Phoenix was baking in 117 degree heat. Further, AZ Alpha ‘63 grad Lew Alton caught the largest trout and was also a great camp cook on the outside fire cast iron griddle for eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes.

Next year we’re planning a July fishing & camping trip to Greer, Arizona at a large cabin. Bo Sederstrom and Stan Strom have connections and we’ll catch lots of trout at Big Lake nearby.
