MICHAEL MATNEY, Adrian college (MI ALPHA) ‘92

In May 1992, Mike started his mortgage banking career in Michigan just one week after graduating from Adrian College with a B.B.A. Business management degree.  He also played varsity football at Adrian for two years. He is also a proud member of our SAE Fraternity at the Michigan Alpha chapter.  In 1998, he moved to AZ to advance his mortgage career and it was the best move of his life. 

Mike remains active in residential mortgage lending with Southwest Direct Mortgage along with volunteering for the American Legion in Cave Creek helping and supporting our Veterans.  Welcome Mike Matney as a new Director in 2020 with the SAE Phoenix Alumni Group.  Salute, Cheers and Phi Alpha! 

BRIAN g aNDERSON, az aLPHA ‘09 (aRIZONA)

Brian was one our newest Directors and a great addition as a representative from the southern part of Arizona in Tucson. He is the proud father of two children (with the newest born in 2021 as a boy). Due to family and work balancing, Brian decided to leave our board of directors but we thank him for his service.

Brian’s family controls one of the state’s largest cattle operations near Globe, AZ.

Bill Wienke, Texas Alpha ‘60

Bill has been a diligent Recorder of this SAE Phoenix Inc. since its inception. He brings years of banking experience. He served Texas Alpha as Eminent Archon (Fall 1959) and had 24 years in the Securities Industry including 6 years as President of a regional New York Stock Exchange firm and 8 years as a Business Consultant in western U. S. and Canada

Due to his amazing legacy, the SAE Phoenix Alumni named its annual award to be presented to the most outstanding SAE alumnus in Phoenix.
